The MAD House
MAD House is a creative space and working residency in Porto, Portugal, for international artists and designers. The residency is at the core of the house, giving residents one to three months to live and work on a project, with dedicated space, weekly guidance, and time to develop their professional practice.
Outside of the residency, MAD House offers hosts workshops and events for the public, does creative direction for brands and products and makes the space available for private events and photoshoots.

The Residency
Located in the city center of Porto, Portugal, MAD House offers a place for international and local artists, designers, writers, researchers, filmmakers and small business owners to live, work, and develop their professional practice.
Residents live and work on-site for one to three months, with dedicated workspace, weekly guidance, and the time to focus on a project that has been waiting for their attention.
The residency is designed for people at different stages of their practice. You may arrive with a project already in motion, or with an idea you have been trying to make space for. MAD House offers a place to work alongside other creatives, connect with Porto's craft community, and establish a focused rhythm for making and moving work forward.
Formerly an architect’s studio in Porto, MAD House was designed with Fala Atelier around the Original character of the building, creating both a space for both living and working.
